Improved Appearance of Products
The appearance of products such as pastas, pizzas and ready-made meals with potato, milk or cheese toppings can be improved by browning the tops either before or after cooking.
The browning of potato or sauces can be achieved in 60-90 seconds by passing them through a Frampton grill with top heat only. The grills normally used for this have either adjustable conveyor heights or the positions of the top elements can be varied to enable the heating elements to be as close to the top of the product as possible. Products with either grated cheese or with cheese sauce on them can be browned in 45-60 seconds.
An additional advantage is that the heating time is so short that the internal temperature of the product is not appreciably raised, which can reduce the problems of bacteria growth.
Because we have the experience and knowledge to be able to provide you with equipment that will be suitable for your application and will give a long reliable working life. If we are not 100% confident that the equipment will perform as you require, we will not supply it. We have built up a very good reputation over a long period of time and want to keep it.
